  • over the holidays...

    i discovered..........

    ferrari barbie.

    enough said.

    **edit**
implication:  i think barbie is hilarious the ultimate
objectification of women marketed at young girls so that they can
idolize an icon which has been up until very recently a blond blue eyed
    bombshell that has everything.

thus seeing a ferrari barbie..dolled up to the nines...lol. it just
exemplified the fact above.  she looks good, dresses well, and
thus she has everything...it's the stupid ideal that has been sold to
    women for decades.

    be like barbie.
look good. and somehow, nothing bad can happen to you, you will be
dressed well, taken care of and drooled over...because someone will
always be there to take care of u, if you look gorgeous.  no
    worries doll.

even a working girl barbie of the modern world resulting from feminist backlash against barbie looks IMMACULATE.
lol.  fitting isn't it?  afterall, if we're being brutally
honest here...it's no secret that most men and even most of society
perfers the complacent, beautiful, doe eyed woman who doesn't rock the
boat, and doesn't wanna be anything more than pretty and taken care
    of.  be a trophy darling..shhhh baby...don't say a word. you'll
ruin that pretty little face of yours.

hahahahaha. k. sorry. i'm sick today...prolly makes me even more
bitter. but Barbie truly is not a very healthy symbol that young girls
should have been given and idolizing. i know i had one, and i remember
wishing i could be blond, blue eyed, have gorgeous hair, a slim waist,
big boobs and killer legs.  and i also remember thinking how much
fun it would be to walk around on heels all day, and be
glamorous.  LOL.  heels might be beautiful and fun, but
they're torture, and they're actually incredibly bad for women's
spines, knees, legs and feet. hahaha.  perhaps beauty is nothing
more than confinement, the age old way in which women were distracted
    as to please men more.

alrighty enough thoughts on barbie..i need sleep. adieu.
